During Wednesday's lecture I saw a connection/was confused by the connection between the event in media vectors and the bracketing of the "re" in (re)production. I understood Wark to be saying that not only does the event exist in time and physical space, but additionally existing in the vector itself. Is this vector event independent of the physically observable event? (Additionally connected to Baudrillard's theory of the precession of the simulacra?) In the same vein, is the product of production observable, and distinct from the other production existing in the re of (re)production? I find myself thinking in circles, and can't quite solidify this connection.
