Tragedy of the Internet?

I think what was most interesting this week was censorship and the Internet; in the fact that it is essentially it’s own sovereign “state,” so to say. It is global, so there are no governing factors, such as the U.S. or China. Internet politics and International environmental politics are very similar. If you have read Hardin’s “Tragedy of the Commons,” then you know that the environment is a commons, as is the Internet, and the conflict over those aforementioned common ‘goods.’ This is the same as the Internet. However, sometimes laws are tried to be passed in certain aspects of environmental or internet politics, but they do not matter unless there is no veto from opposing forces.
